More functions doesn’t mean more size and weight. The compact APX 8000 has been intuitively designed to fit on a holster or in a grip and includes a flexible antenna that won’t get in the way.
Police officers work in all types of weather and environments. The APX 8000 features a water-tight seal, drop-resistant battery latch, tempered glass display and shock-proof aluminum alloy design to protect against the elements.
Unsecured radios compromise missions. The APX 8000 includes multiple hardware encryption, up to 128 keys and P25 Radio Authentication to protect the system from rogue users and cloned radios.
